Toxic Teaser: Yash Unveils ‘Ladies and Ladies’ Glimpse From Geetu Mohandas’ Action Entertainer

Anticipation around Yash’s next big theatrical outing just got another boost, with the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups releasing a fresh teaser focused entirely on the film’s ensemble of leading women. Titled “Ladies and Ladies,” the roughly one-minute-and-44-second glimpse gives audiences their clearest look yet at the film’s female cast, before building to a climactic moment where Yash’s character squares off against what the teaser frames as a formidable clan of women.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the action entertainer has been generating steady buzz through its promotional cycle, with previous glimpses and cast interviews already hinting at a film that leans heavily on its women characters rather than treating them as peripheral to Yash’s action-hero arc. The new teaser continues that thread, featuring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth and other cast members in quick, stylised cuts before the footage shifts into full action mode.

Toxic has previously been described in coverage as a period actioner, and cast members have spoken about the film reshaping familiar gender dynamics within the genre — with Kiara Advani earlier suggesting the project reframes the balance between its male and female characters, and Yash himself pointing to a different, more layered kind of intensity in the roles played by his female co-stars. Tara Sutaria, who plays a character named Rebecca in the film, has also teased that the movie will surprise audiences with an approach they aren’t expecting from a typical action vehicle.

The new teaser closes on a cheeky, innuendo-laced note, reinforcing that Toxic is being positioned as a strictly adult watch rather than family-friendly fare — a tonal choice that lines up neatly with the film’s subtitle, A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is currently scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 26, 2026. With the “Ladies and Ladies” teaser now out, focus will likely shift to a full trailer in the coming weeks as the promotional campaign builds toward release. Given the scale of its ensemble cast and Geetu Mohandas at the helm, Toxic remains one of the more closely tracked South Indian theatrical releases on the 2026 calendar, with audiences now eager to see how its action set-pieces and its women-driven narrative threads come together on the big screen.
